What it is
Vocabbie is a vocabulary learning app. You type a topic — Spanish travel phrases, medical terminology, whatever — and AI generates a flashcard deck instantly. Then you learn it with spaced repetition.
How it works
Three steps: type your topic, get your deck, review with spaced repetition. The algorithm tracks what you know and what you don’t, and adjusts timing so you review cards right before you’d forget them.
Weekly progress tracking keeps you honest. Short sessions — five to ten minutes — so it fits into a commute or a coffee break.
Design approach
Dark UI, minimal distractions, one thing on screen at a time. The flashcard interaction is a simple tap to flip, swipe to rate. No gamification clutter, no streaks that guilt you. Just the cards and your progress.
I wanted it to feel like a tool, not an app trying to retain you. You open it, learn something, close it.
