Yousician

I’m a Lead Product Designer on the GuitarTuna team, working at the intersection of design, retention, and product experience. My day-to-day focus is making sure users not only come back, but actually enjoy doing so.

What I Do

• I work on improving retention and engagement across the app, especially through better onboarding and first-time user experience
• I collaborate with product, engineering, and research to fix long-standing design and tech debt
• I help shape the direction of our retention efforts with data-informed design decisions
• I support ongoing brand collaborations by helping turn partnership ideas into engaging, user-facing features

Sidequests

I’ve built a few internal tools to help our design team work faster and smarter:

• Song Metadata Populator – instantly fills in real song data in mocks
• Icon Creator Plugin – simplifies our variant and icon asset management
• Multi-language Preview Tool – stress-tests designs in all supported app languages

Community

I also organize Yousician Design Jam, a meetup for designers in Helsinki. I’m passionate about community building – I truly believe we’re better (and faster) when we learn from each other.
